Memphis-based Service Assurance Adds Office Space as it Continues to Grow
August 08, 2011
Business is so strong for a Memphis-based company that provides information technology (IT) to companies that it is expanding.
Service Assurance can no longer fit into its 10,000 square feet at 6935 Appling Farms Parkway, so by Aug. 15 it is going to move the sales team, marketing and project management to 5,000 square feet at Timber Creek Office Park, near Germantown Parkway and Dexter in Cordova, CEO Mark Giannini said.
Moving those operations will make room for six additional engineers Service Assurance will hire.
"And we're expanding our sales team," Giannini said.
The arrangement should be temporary; by next June, Service Assurance expects to move all its employees -- now nearly 100 -- into a 25,000-square-foot building that it will purchase, Giannini said.
The 22-year-old company has had success with a business model in which it "shows CEOs how to use IT effectively," Giannini said.
"We're able to have a business conversation rather than a technology conversation. We help businesses improve efficiency and grow their revenue, show them how to use technology as a competitive weapon rather than it be an albatross."
